How Our New Upgrade Will Affect You

 

We will be completing our technical upgrade over the weekend of September 29, with all services up and running on the new system on Monday morning, October 2.

Every effort has been made to minimize the impact on you and your credit union membership. This booklet was created to detail the effects of the upgrade and, at the same time, to anticipate and answer the questions you may have regarding your account(s). Please review the information carefully, and save this booklet as a reference.

If you have any questions that are not addressed here, please visit your local branch office, or contact our Call Center at 229-244-2732 or 800-228-9839. For your convenience, the Call Center will be available over the upgrade weekend, and we will be extending our hours the week following the upgrade.

HOURS

Southeastern Credit Union offices will close at their regular times on Friday, September 29, and will be closed on Saturday, September 30. Offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, October 2.

ELECTRONIC BANKING

Online Banking

Online Banking will be unavailable from 6:00 pm on Friday, September 29, until Monday morning, October 2.

  • For your initial logon on or after October 2, your User ID will be your Account Number. Once you are logged in, you will be required to create a new User ID.
  • The Password on you initial logon will be scu plus the last four digits of the primary account holder’s Social Security number (example: scu8642). Once you are logged in, you will be required to create a new Password.
  • Payee Nicknames, Alerts, and Automatic Transfers will not convert to the new Online Banking system. They can be re-established on or after October 2.
  • If you are currently enrolled in eStatements, you will continue to receive them.

 

Bill Pay

Bill Pay will be unavailable from 6:00 pm on Friday, September 29, until Monday morning, October 2. All other aspects of Bill Pay, including payees, scheduled payments, etc., will be unaffected.

Debit Cards

You may continue to use your existing debit card and PIN.

Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking will be unavailable from 6:00 pm on Friday, September 29, until Monday morning, October 2.

If you currently use our Mobile Banking app on a smartphone or tablet, you must be sure to download the updated version on or after October 2. This new version includes our new Mobile Deposit and Mobile Bill Pay features.

Telephone Banking

Telephone Banking will be unavailable from 6:00 pm on Friday, September 29, until Monday morning, October 2.

Effective October 2, Telephone Banking will have a new toll-free number: 844-378-7567.

New Features

ACCOUNT HISTORY

Deposit/Loan Accounts

  • 18 months of account transaction history will be available in Online Banking as of Monday, October 2.
  • If you wish to back up your deposit and/or loan account history, please print out or download the information prior to Friday, September 29.

Financial Software

  • If you use Quicken software, your account information can be transferred to our new Online Banking. Look for detailed instructions on our website,

  • If you use QuickBooks software, you will now be able to use Direct Connect to link with Online Banking to reconcile your accounts and transactions.
